We stayed here for my daughter’s rehearsal and wedding, and it truly made the weekend unforgettable. The wedding party was able to stay on-site in beautiful, well-appointed cottages that were spotless and stylish. The property layout was perfect for spending quality time with family and friends, both old and new. Everything was comfortable, convenient, and thoughtfully designed, making the entire experience far more than just a wedding day—it was a full weekend of memories. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic place...the cottages are only 8 minutes from Highlands tucked away in a beautiful quiet wooded area which overlooks a horse pasture. The cottage itself was absolutely spotless, and every small detail was included to make this feel like home away from home - perfect for a romantic weekend or a group of friends/family. We'll definitely be back!!

We have stayed at Five Apple Farm 4 times over the last 5 years now. We absolutely love the serene landscape. The property is inviting and the perfect place to make memories as a family. We love the convenience of both Highlands and Cashiers. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our family loves staying at Five Apple Farm every time we visit Highlands! We’ve enjoyed three stays in less than a year! The cleanliness of the cottages and grounds, location ‘just far enough’ away from town, and the fantastic hospitality of Gary and Melani, make each trip memorable!

Five Apple Farms was recommended by friends of ours and we agreed with their assessment…it was lovely!!! The cottage was warm and cozy, the beds were comfortable, it was spotless, and it was well appointed. The grounds were beautiful, and the kids loved the fire and the walking trails. I would recommend that you get an SUV or a four-wheel-drive because when we rented Chevy Traverse and it was a little spotty getting up the gravel hill when it was raining. We look forward to coming back again!

Five Apple Farm was such a hidden gem. It is far enough from the main road that it feels like a rustic retreat in the beautiful Highland mountains but close enough that we could be at most of the nearby places we needed to go to within 7-15 minutes. The house was stunning - a perfect blend of modern beauty mixed with the look of farmhouse with the wooden board walls. The bed was one of the coziest beds my husband and I had slept in!! And the house was so spacious! We actually walked in and there was a bedroom on the right and we assumed that was it until we turned around the corner and realized there was this high ceiling over the stone fireplace and up the stairs realized there were two more bedrooms. The house had a gorgeous little deck to sit out and look out over the mountains and even a little fire pit with chairs we could used but didn't have time because we were too busy enjoying all that the surrounding area had to offer with beautiful hikes and great restaurants. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this lovely place for your next weekend getaway!!! So refreshing!

We had a wonderful weekend at Five Apple Farm! We stayed at the Limbertwig cottage and it was perfect. Loved the decor, very clean, and it was well-appointed with all the essentials. Will for sure plan to stay here again and we are considering hosting our son’s rehearsal dinner at the event barn and reserving the cottages for the wedding weekend. One point to consider- the gravel driveway was a little soft in spots and my car struggled to make it up. I recommend a 4wheel drive or parking at the event barn.
