Presenting Our “Clustered Cottages”
Our three nearly identical “clustered cottages” bear the name of a historic Macon County North Carolina apple. Each enjoys its own privacy with plenty of opportunity to make new friends
Cider Sweet
Each of our clustered cottages can sleep up to six guests in three distinct areas: An upper Master bedroom with a king-size bed, an upper loft area with two twin beds and a lower level bedroom with two comfortable twin beds. Our clean and nicely decorated cottages provide mountain chic comfort in a comfortable safe and comfortable mountain setting. Enjoy the beautiful views, rest on the covered back deck or warm yourself at the fire pit. Each cottage is fully outfitted with kitchenware, coffeemaker, linens, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, stacked washer/dryer, stone fireplace, optional firewood on your front porch and a charcoal grill.
These newly constructed cottages offer mountain chic comfort, in a family farm setting.
The generous sized and well-appointed kitchen makes cooking easy and enjoyable when taking a break from the many fine restaurants in the surrounding area. There is space for six at the dining table along with the bar area seating.
The breezy back porch has a grill, and overlooks the beautiful lawn and mountain vistas. Enjoy your first cup of coffee on the porch listening to the songbirds. There is a fire pit and comfy Adirondack chairs in the common space that is perfect for making smore’s.
The floor plan lends itself to family living or sharing space with friends. The king-sized master bedroom, with its over-sized closet, is located upstairs adjacent to a walk-in shower bathroom. The second bedroom with two twin sized beds is located in the first floor with its bathroom located immediately across from it. The cozy living space, with its stone fireplace offers a flat screen TV and flows out to the covered porch. The loft offers separate space to get away to with oversized chairs to relax in. When needed each chair becomes additional sleeping space as twin sized premium sleeper. Please note that each cottage is strictly limited to a 6 person maximum occupancy.
Kids of all ages can enjoy lawn games on the property. You can just relax on the porch, hike the trials in the adjacent National Forest, watch for wildlife (turkeys, woodpeckers, deer…the occasional bear). There’s plenty to do, or not do, while visiting. Shopping, dining, golf, hiking and fishing abound in the Highlands-Cashiers area. Various types of boating are also available at nearby lake Glenville. We have strong and fast internet for those who need to put in a few hours of work or school. We are perfectly located 8 minutes from Highlands and 15 from Cashiers.

Cancellation Policy
It is our policy to provide a credit for a future stay when a cancellation takes place within 45 days. By canceling your reservation near your arrival date, others are prevented from making a reservation, especially during peak seasons. We will do our best to accommodate your dates of choice in the future. Other rentals in our area provide no credit at all.
